Over the past few weeks, rumours surrounding Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s troubled marriage have been doing rounds on the internet. Once considered the IT couple of Bollywood, they always opted to keep their private life away from the limelight and never commented on their separation rumours. Now, amidst it all, an old interview of Bhichek is going viral where he opened up about how his wife had taught him to treat rumours like kala teeka.
In an old interview with the Hindustan Times, the 47-year-old actor shared his wife’s favourite phrase and her viewpoint when it comes to reacting to rumours and speculations on their personal life. He revealed that she taught him to give more importance to the love and positivity they receive from their fans. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, Abhishek said, “I don’t react to any speculation; my wife taught me that a long time ago. For those who don’t know, for the last few weeks, there have been rumours circulating that all is not well in the Bachchan household as Ash is choosing to stay separately from her in-laws and husband. As per the Times Now News, the situation in their home is so bad that Aishwarya and her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan have ceased all communication over the past few years. The divorce rumours surrounding the couple resurfaced in November when the diva turned 50 years old. While she was seen celebrating the occasion with her mother and daughter, none of her in-laws wished her. It was her hubby’s dry wish on his social media handle that raised concern amongst their fans.
For the unversed, the actors tied the knot in 2007 in Mumbai in a closed-off ceremony and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011. On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Abhishek Bachchan was seen in the sports drama Ghoomer alongside Saiyami Kher.
